What we do

Jams

Improv jams are a great way to see and participate in improv! Jams are free informal get-togethers where people just get on stage and play. There's always a mix of different people, and you'll never have the same experience twice!

Classes

Classes are an affordable, more formal (though not with, like, tests or anything) way to learn more about improv. Even if you never want to set foot on a stage, the skills and lessons you'll get from improv can carry through to many different areas of your life, from gaining confidence to learning to deal with unpredictability to how to brainstorm!

Fundamentals of Improv

This drop-in course will go over the fundamental premises of improv - radical trust, some of the basics and we'll play some shortform games to whet your whistle. Come back as often as you'd like, and bring friends!

Intro to improv

Learn the basics of improv - the always relevant "yes, and"; the fundamentals of building character; how to create a narrative structure, and more! This six-week course will help ground you in the basics of the artform, and leave you wanting more! Each cohort will end their round of courses with a capstone performance they can invite friends and family to!

Advanced Studies

These two-to-four-week intensives will do a deep dive into specific aspects of improv, allowing those with improv experience to hone their abilities. More details will come as these are planned throughout the year.

Performances

We plan to produce both longform and shortform performances, though we're not at that stage yet. (Get it??) Interested in auditioning for the troupe, or seeing a show?

Send us a note!

Punning competitions

Punning is, as everyone knows, the highest form of wit, and we like to celebrate that with some VERY low-stakes pun competitions! It's a little bit of improv all its own as you gather with like-minded folks to make dad jokes that'll make everyone groan. Seriously, it's a lot of fun!
